The Food Service Associate main duty is to ensure that all food service displays are well-supplied and maintained in a hygienic condition throughout operating hours. They must be available to aid customers when necessary and exhibit a positive and dynamic attitude. Responsibilities of Food Service Associate:
- Maintains the cleanliness of food service display units, storage spaces, and workstations to promote a safe environment, which involves tasks such as tidying shelves and products, ensuring floors are clear of liquid leaks, and eliminating any dangerous clutter from the ground by sweeping it away.
- Arranges food service displays, following guidelines from the Food Service Department for product presentation, stocking, and layout accuracy.
- Evaluates the turnaround of all food service goods with a specific focus on identifying expired inventory and disposing of outdated or spoiled products.
- Responds in a helpful manner to customer queries and aids customers in making purchases, providing information, and selecting products; involves promoting and recommending products.
- Verifies, examines, and records items to ensure precision in delivery, climate conditions, and excellence.
- Observes the point-of-sale displays, making sure there is a diverse selection of recipe cards, product vouchers, promotional content, and details about complementary food items.
- Entails the operation and utilization of tools like knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, waste disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Prepares different food items by selecting the right ingredients and following the correct cooking durations for each dish.
- Utilizes understanding of scales and weight units to precisely measure and tag items.
- Engages in pre-inventory arrangements, involving organizing back stock and verifying tags correspond with items.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of product information and how to prepare products effectively.

Qualification of Food Service Associate:
