Job Summary of Pharmacy Team Member:

This role supports the pharmacy team by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician works under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Pharmacy Team Member:

• Support pharmacists in the compliance with state and federal laws during the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of prescription medications.
• Handle inventory through the acquisition, stocking, and tracing of pharmacy supplies and medications.
• Precisely handle prescription fillings by operating pharmacy software interfaces.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and guiding them as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the pharmacy surroundings.
• Assist with pharmacy administrative tasks and ensure staff compliance with documentation requirements.
• Ensure that all company policies and safety standards are strictly followed.

Qualifications and Experience of Pharmacy Team Member:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with an approved certification accepted in the state of practice.
• Preference is given to candidates with experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Acute attention to specifics and adept adherence to strict processes.
• Displays great communication finesse and an aptitude for delivering high-quality customer care.
• Adaptability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
