Job Qualification:

• No prior experience necessary; suitable for individuals with up to 6 months of exposure
• Minimum educational attainment: Completion of high school or its equivalent is necessary
• Preference for certification or licensure: Pharmacy Certification
• Weight limit: A maximum of 25 pounds to be lifted
• Minimum age of 18 years must be met

Job Responsibilities:

• Patients should be warmly greeted and shown empathy upon entering any area of the pharmacy.
• Demonstrate exceptional patient care through showing respect, actively involving, and energetically fulfilling or surpassing all patient requirements. This includes handling orders in both face-to-face interactions and over the phone, guiding patients towards products and goods, and directing relevant inquiries about prescriptions and non-prescription medication to the pharmacist.
• Adhere to cleanliness standards at work to comply with regulations set by both the organization and authorities.
• Aid in delegating assignments to team members to promote the smooth operation of the department.
• Utilize the pharmacy system to carry out all required tasks efficiently to enhance patient care during drop-off, will-call, drive-thru, phone interactions, prescription filling, and order receiving. This includes tasks like locating patient records and profiles, identifying fill and pick-up dates, identifying prescriptions routed to Central Fill, providing cost estimates for prescriptions, verifying medication inventory levels, and recording incoming invoices.
• Help the team develop strategies to enhance results based on a comprehensive understanding of relevant service and business indicators.
• Support the implementation of all corporate initiatives and projects.
• Finish the compulsory training program and its associated examinations.
• Adhere to all company, state, and federal guidelines, as well as compliance with HIPAA and regulations concerning the sale of Pseudoephedrine.
• Complete transactions utilizing the cash register in adherence to designated protocols and standard operating procedures, which also involve the implementation of point of sale regulations.
• Create a personalized label for the customer by accurately transcribing information from prescriptions.
• Support in managing appropriate stock levels through the process of ordering, receiving, and organizing medications and supplies according to company guidelines.
• Respond to phone calls courteously and promptly, guaranteeing that accurate details are shared and that the caller's needs are met.
• Address customer inquiries and issues through clear and efficient communication with both the customer and internal support teams.
• Record prescriptions in writing on a daily basis.
