Job Summary of Front End Cashier:

At Stop & Shop, we rely on our cashiers to handle our products and customers with care. They're the face of the store. More than anyone, our cashiers interact with our customers and help answer any questions they might have. This includes scaing purchases, bagging groceries, and processing all transactions. This is just a general overview of their job duties, and you may be asked to assist in other ways, depending on the needs of your store.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Front End Cashier:

• Interact with customers, answering any questions and providing assistance when needed.
• Scan purchases, bag groceries, and process all transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every shopper.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, depending on store demands.

Qualifications and Experience of Front End Cashier:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
