Responsibilities of Stock Handling Clerk:

• Offers quick, effective, and friendly customer support by displaying care, attentiveness, and patience in all customer interactions, ensuring that customers are treated as the most significant individuals in the store.
• Engages in amiable interactions by smiling and acknowledging customers, whether positioned in the designated department or other areas of the store.
• Makes a conscious attempt to remember the names of customers and uses their names as a way to engage with them.
• Assists individuals in navigating the store to locate products, reaching for items that are high up, aiding in lifting or carrying heavy objects, relaying suggestions or inquiries, and performing miscellaneous tasks to enhance the shopping process.
• Attends to phone calls promptly and delivers a friendly and accommodating service to individuals on the other end.
• Assists in teamwork efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and create an enjoyable work setting.
• Adheres to correct sanitation protocols and maintains cleanliness in the workspace.
• Guarantees the availability of products by following a production schedule or creating one if necessary.
• Forecasts daily product demands, receives incoming items, stores products, and may inspect billing statements.
• Keeps products fresh by replenishing and rotating stock accordingly.
• Timely trash removal services provided.
• Sets up, finalizes, and restocks materials as needed.
• Follows company policies meticulously, including adherence to hygiene and dress code stipulations.

Qualifications of Stock Handling Clerk:

• Equivalent experience to less than a high school education.
• Approximately half a year or less of analogous work involvement.
• Capacity to execute specific and uncomplicated written or spoken directives.
• Ability to deal with a few concrete variables.
• Elementary numerical skills encompassing straightforward addition and subtraction.
• Aptitude for reproducing figures, tabulating amounts, and recording information.
• Competence in adhering to spoken or visual instructions, enlisting identifying particulars, and articulating resource needs via oral or written methods.

Physical Requirements of Stock Handling Clerk:

• Must be able to perform medium work: exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
• Visual requirements include close and distant vision, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
