Job Summary of Retail Stocker:

The main duty of this role is to support the overnight deli operations through tasks such as preparation, stocking, and upkeep of fresh food choices, with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Stocker:

• Arrange and provision deli items for the upcoming day of operations, meeting freshness and quality requirements.
• Accurately cut meats and cheeses, pack them appropriately, and label products correctly.
• Uphold a hygienic and organized work environment, encompassing both food preparation stations and display units.
• Inspect the dates of products, update the inventory rotation, and discard any merchandise that is unsellable.
• Follow the night operations procedures in accordance with food safety, sanitation, and store policies.
• Carry out tasks promptly and effectively, both autonomously and in coordination with the night crew.
• Assist in displaying goods and preparing the department for the morning launch.

Qualifications and Experience of Retail Stocker:

• Although prior experience in a deli, food prep, or retail role is favored, it is not obligatory.
• Able to accommodate nighttime, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Awareness of the core principles of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Sharp focus on subtleties and expertise in creating order.
• Skilled at operating effectively in a rapid-paced setting and completing tasks that involve physical movement.
• Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma or similar credentials.
