Bakery Operator

Job Summary:

Guide the Bakery Department by supervising staff, purchasing raw materials, and deploying merchandising tactics to promote business growth, fulfill customer demands, and maximize revenue.

Job Requirements:

• The job requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of previous experience
• Possession of a high school diploma not mandatory for participation in the desired educational curriculum
• 100-Pound Lifting Demand: Ability to carry loads not exceeding 100 pounds
• A prerequisite for this is being 18 years or older

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the Bakery Manager and undertake all operational responsibilities in their nonappearance.
• Ability to interpret and adhere to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Ensure that the products and services provided consistently meet or surpass the requirements of both internal and external customers and align with the Company's Common Purpose, Goal, and Guiding Principles.
• Adhere to the company's standardized procedures and policies to prevent stock deficiencies, maintain product presentation, enhance sales performance, elevate customer satisfaction, ensure a secure work environment, and limit inventory losses.
• Maintain communication methods with other departments to develop marketing plans aimed at fulfilling the store's financial goals.
• Direct, evaluate, and supervise the training delivered by a trainer to team members in the department with the aim of reducing turnover, enhancing efficiency, and controlling labor costs.
• Create, update, and oversee inventory documentation and operational protocols to evaluate gross monthly earnings per Company guidelines.
• Supervise inventory levels by assessing weekly reports and obtaining necessary supplies and materials to ensure customer satisfaction and boost profits.
• Showing a readiness to dedicate the time needed to complete tasks.
• Having a job in a store that provides continuous exposure to the tasks and equipment utilized in the bakery area.
