Role and Responsibilities:

You will deliver timely service with a positive attitude while maintaining the quality and safety of fresh food products. Supporting store operations through effective organization and compliance with safety standards will be key to your role.

• Deliver excellent service and food promptly and with a positive attitude.
• Organize merchandise in compliance with company standards for unloading and stocking.
• Follow prescribed recipes, safety standards, and policies when packaging, arranging, and exhibiting edibles.
• Conduct necessary temperature assessments and observe product conditions to maintain freshness and safety protocols.
• Preserve the cleanliness of retail areas, storage backdrops, and refrigeration spots to enhance safety measures and prevent congestion.
• Follow health and company guidelines for washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Maintain the condition of signage, rotate products, prioritize freshness, and allocate space for merchandise effectively.
• Practice safe procedures when using production equipment and handling cleaning agents and sharp tools.
• Execute cash register operations according to company guidelines.
• Contribute to team operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment through cooperative efforts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Availability to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Strong skills in both written and spoken communication when engaging with customers and coworkers.
• Proficiency in comprehending content found on product packaging, shelf tags, educational materials, and notices.
• Capable of juggling multiple responsibilities, identifying key priorities, and promoting a cooperative team environment.
• Proficient in safely managing cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and production equipment.
• Displaying a proactive approach in task management and completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An equivalent to a high school diploma is accepted as a minimum educational standard.
• Experience with food preparation or working in a grocery environment.
• Familiarization with food safety principles, sanitation techniques, and professional conduct.
• Solid work history highlighting reliability and integrity.
• Proficient in managing fast-paced customer interactions and delivering top-notch service.
