Company Overview:

Whole Foods Market is currently hiring for a Part-Time Grocery Stocker. As a Grocery Team Member, you will be responsible for keeping shelves stocked, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with inventory and checkout operations. Role and Responsibilities:

As a Grocery Stocker, you will deliver outstanding customer service and help ensure the grocery department operates efficiently. Your responsibilities include:

• Provide exceptional service to all shoppers in the store.
• Receive and store dry goods, beverages, household items, and bulk materials.
• Follow proper product handling guidelines, including meeting time and temperature standards.
• Maintain freshness by rotating back stock using a first-in, first-out system.
• Coordinate with the Grocery Department Head to ensure accurate product signage.
• Adhere to inventory management practices established by the organization.
• Support front-end operations by scanning items, completing transactions, and ensuring products are properly bagged.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects weighing 50 75 pounds frequently.
• Capability to bend, squat, kneel, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in low-temperature environments such as coolers, freezers, and storage areas.
• Use all senses (sight, hearing, smell) to interpret labels, assess product quality, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail or grocery stocking is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a part-time position with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. Weekly hours are up to 24, including one required weekend shift. Typical shifts are Monday 12:00 8:30 PM, Friday 12:00 8:30 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM 2:00 PM.
