Job Summary:
Your role as Retail Pharmacist will involve nurturing a team that prioritizes customer service excellence in the pharmacy setting. This team will focus on establishing strong connections with patients by going above and beyond to fulfill their requirements and providing them with safe, precise, and effective care to achieve optimal results for patients, team members, and the company.
Job Qualifications:
- Applicants must have between one and three years of experience, with at least one year spent working in a pharmacy environment, including a minimum of three months as a licensed pharmacist
- Having prior experience managing a team is a plus for this position
- This job necessitates a Bachelor's Degree as the educational qualification
- Pharmacist candidates need to fulfill certain prerequisites like securing immunization certification, holding a valid CPR certification, obtaining a license, and registering for an NPI
- Weight lifting capacity: Can handle weights of up to 25 pounds
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and help with the secure and efficient dispensing of all patient orders by complying with all quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Exhibit exceptional patient care by respecting, engaging, and zealously meeting or going above and beyond all patient needs, which includes counseling and solving problems.
- Complete all the functions of a Pharmacist, such as deciphering and providing prescriptions for medications and durable medical equipment, assessing the clinical facets of the prescription, maintaining updated patient profiles, and ensuring the correct dispensation of medications and durable medical equipment to patients.
- Show dedication to following company protocols and legal requirements at state and federal levels by providing coaching and leading by example.
- Improve the quality of care and interaction with patients and staff through strategic planning of schedules, delegation of responsibilities, and prudent management of resources.
- Control stock levels by monitoring daily records, supervising physical inventory audits, and ensuring the appropriate handling of medications and supplies to fulfill patient needs and enhance financial gains.
- Coordinate efforts with the Supermarket team members, like the Pharmacy District Leader, Corporate Pharmacy team, Store Leader, and Regional Business Leader, to enhance effectiveness and boost financial success.
- Supervise, synchronize, and monitor the recruitment, education, advancement, evaluation, acknowledgment, and empowerment of staff to secure constant participation from team members and advancements in departmental functions.
- Meet all cleanliness criteria to satisfy the expectations of both the company and governmental regulations.
- Evaluate and analyze the pertinent service and business measures to help in crafting action plans for improved results.
- Fulfill all obligatory audits and paperwork
- Provide hands-on management by offering coaching and feedback to team members according to established guidelines.
- Establish and look after a conducive setting in the workplace that fosters the well-being of all employees.
- Deliver vaccines and actively participate in clinical services to optimize patient well-being and company performance.
- Provide support in training and supervising new team members in the Pharmacy Lead position to equip them with the skills needed to successfully implement all company initiatives and programs.
- Stay current and knowledgeable about new drugs, treatments, and advancements in the pharmacy field.
- Retain professional competency and service acumen while advocating for constructive transformations in the pharmacy sector to improve patient care and business performance.
- Continually enhance professional connections with external partners, such as nurses, physicians, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct the responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician as specified.
