This role supports operations by accurately selecting and preparing customer orders. Associates are responsible for shopping the store for online purchases, selecting quality products, and ensuring timely and friendly customer order dispensing. The environment is fast-paced, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays, and involves frequent interaction with customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Picker:
- Effectively purchase and pick out items following online customer requests.
- Effectively manage orders and maintain a positive interaction with customers.
- Stay informed about the whereabouts of items in the store to help customers with speedy decision-making.
- Keep assigned sections neat, arranged, and fully equipped.
- Provide assistance to team members across multiple departments whenever necessary.
- Respond to customer queries and offer support in locating merchandise when required.
Qualifications and Experience of Store Picker:
- Participants are required to be of legal age, which is 18 years or above.
- Proficiency in handling the demands of a fast-paced and physically challenging setting.
- Proficiency in customer service and communication proficiency.
- Being able to navigate and excel in different work settings and roles.
- Although having previous experience in retail or grocery is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
