Job Summary of Store Meat Cutter:

This position plays a key role in maintaining the freshness, appearance, and availability of meat products. The individual is responsible for preparing a variety of meat cuts, assisting customers with selection and preparation advice, and ensuring department cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Meat Cutter:

• Maintain a fully stocked and visually appealing meat department to meet customer demand.
• Cut, trim, bone, and grind meat products as needed or per customer request.
• Greet and assist customers with meat selection and preparation guidance.
• Ensure proper product rotation, storage, and food safety practices.
• Monitor freshness and quality of displayed products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and display cases.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Meat Cutter:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in meat cutting or food preparation is preferred.
• Knowledge of various meat cuts, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to operate meat cutting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
