As a Money Handler at Winn-Dixie, you are pivotal in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process for customers. Your duties include greeting, assisting, and thanking customers with a friendly and courteous demeanor, accurately utilizing the register, and efficiently processing all payment types. Responsibilities of Money Handler:

• Demonstrate consistent commitment to fulfilling customer needs. Greet, assist, and thank customers in a timely, polite, and friendly way.
• Thoroughly document sales by effectively employing the scanning technology.
• Proficiently handle cashiering equipment, accurately identifying different payment methods and distributing precise change promptly.
• Ensure that items at the front-end of the store are adequately stocked and the workspace is kept neat and orderly.
• Please return the carts to the proper storage area.
• Report to management any issues concerning associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, property damage, or any actions that violate the law or company policies.
• Accomplish additional duties as mandated by the job role.

Qualifications of Money Handler:

• Meet the age prerequisites mandated by both legal statutes and organizational guidelines for executing job tasks.
• The capability to understand, write, and articulate ideas in English fluently.
• Proficiency in comprehending and adhering to English directives.
