Job Summary of Certified Pharmacy Assistant:

This role supports the pharmacy team by accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician works under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Certified Pharmacy Assistant:

• Support pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Regulate stock quantities by purchasing, warehousing, and monitoring pharmacy provisions and medications.
• Ensure precise processing of prescriptions through the utilization of pharmacy software platforms.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and guiding them as needed.
• Uphold a neat, systematic, and secure atmosphere in the pharmacy space.
• Provide support to pharmacy staff by assisting with administrative duties and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Conform to the company's policies and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications and Experience of Certified Pharmacy Assistant:

• Accredited Pharmacy Technician with a legitimate certification approved in the state of service.
• It is advantageous to have prior experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Intense concentration on particulars and skill in executing strict guidelines.
• Strong communication prowess and a talent for delivering excellent service to patrons.
