Role and Responsibilities:

The Pick From Store Clerk is essential to fulfilling online grocery orders accurately and efficiently. You will pick and organize items from store shelves, ensuring that customers receive the freshest and most accurate products possible.

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring correct items are picked, packed, and ready for delivery or pickup.
• Interact with customers positively, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
• Accurately pick items from store shelves according to online orders, maintaining quality standards.
• Organize orders efficiently for in-store pickup or home delivery.
• Handle product substitutions correctly and inform customers as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or low-stock items to store leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with store policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist with other store duties, including stock replenishment, product organization, and customer service tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Adaptability to work in various departments and handle new tasks.
• Basic computer skills to process orders and track inventory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain a fast pace while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or variable shifts as needed.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or grocery picking is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly rate: Typically $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
