Role and Responsibilities:

As aCake Decorator

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to deli customers.
• Prepare, slice, weigh, package, and label deli products according to Food Lion standards.
• Maintain product freshness by following proper rotation, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Stock and replenish deli cases to ensure consistent availability of products.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and display cases clean and organized.
• Assist customers with orders, product inquiries, and suggestive selling.
• Comply with company policies, guidelines, and standard practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the position.
• Willingness to follow food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous deli, food service, or grocery retail experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation and safe handling procedures.
