In the role of Assistant Fresh Foods Manager, you will work alongside the Produce-Floral Manager to supervise inventory levels, ensure accurate pricing, conduct training sessions, and manage operational processes that require careful attention. This position is fast-paced and requires efficiency, effectiveness, and a commitment to excellence in order to achieve results while providing a remarkable experience for our guests and team members. Responsibilities of Assistant Fresh Foods Manager:

• Coordinating the ordering of produce items with the Produce-Floral Manager
• Greeting guests and proactively assisting them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely information
• Making recommendations and accommodating requests
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage
• Properly receiving/stocking of goods that follow rotation standards when replenishing product levels
• As needed, assist the Assistant Floral Manager within the floral department
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job as well as through The Fresh Market's internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner

Qualifications of Assistant Fresh Foods Manager:

• In-depth knowledge gained through more than three years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality settings
• Leadership role for 1 year
• Understanding how to effectively navigate Microsoft Office tools is important in today's digital workplace
• The individual must have reached the legal age of adulthood, which is 18
