Role and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of a Inventory Clerk revolve around assisting in the efficient warehouse processes and maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment:
- Support teamwork initiatives aimed at improving distribution center functionality.
- Accurately and safely pack orders as instructed.
- Bundle and prepare fulfilled store purchases for shipping.
- Efficiently and safely load shipments onto trucks while following safety guidelines.
- Accept products from vendors and organize goods for the outbound pick and pack operations.
- Replenish goods in both primary and secondary bins as needed.
- Unbox, transfer, and open product cases for stocking shelves.
- Carry out daily paperwork, records, and documentation responsibilities with precision.
- Process sales requests to outline product codes, sizes, color preferences, and quantities in stock.
- Gather merchandise from bins and shelves while ensuring precise inventory management.
Required Skills and Experience
- The preferred educational attainment is a high school diploma or GED.
- Expertise in performing adeptly as part of a team in a quick-moving setting.
- Attentive to specifics and skilled in structuring and coordinating tasks efficiently.
- Capacity to read and comply with instructions with precision.
- Capacity for consistent physical effort in lifting, moving, and handling goods.
- Promising to uphold safety as a top priority and comply with company rules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the execution of activities in distribution, warehouse, or logistics settings.
- Mastery of inventory management practices and the process of order fulfillment.
- Having bilingual or multilingual communication skills denotes the aptitude to converse proficiently in multiple languages.
