Job Summary of Dairy Supply Clerk:

The primary role of a Dairy Supply Clerk is to oversee the maintenance of merchandise pricing, stocking levels, and display organization in the dairy department. This position entails activities such as monitoring inventory, arranging products in an orderly fashion, and adjusting prices where needed. Additionally, the Dairy Supply Clerk must oversee product rotation to maintain freshness, validate expiry dates for correctness, and remove any items that are no longer suitable for sale.

Responsibilities of Dairy Supply Clerk:

• Assist with the transfer of the goods.
• Convey goods to allocated stock areas for inventory control.
• Precisely affix prices to items after opening cartons.
• Uphold tag allocation standards to consistently restock store shelves as needed.
• Help in constructing store exhibits that showcase products attractively.
• Regularly change the positioning of perishable goods and promptly withdraw any expired products.
• Administer the amount of defective products.
• Make sure the assigned area is set up correctly before the end of the designated work period.
• Adhere to the established standards and procedures relevant to each department.
• Provide a warm welcome to customers entering the store and stay observant.
• Comply with the company's standards for dress and grooming to project a polished image.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the official handbook for employees.
• The program for maintaining prices and protecting against fluctuations.
• Organization and tidying up of sales and backroom spaces.

Qualifications of Dairy Supply Clerk:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
