A new team member is being sought to join the Meijer family! We are experiencing growth and are looking for an entry-level Merchandise Clerk to take on various retail responsibilities linked to products, customer support, pricing, inventory control, and merchandising. The position will also entail working closely with colleagues and supervisors on other assignments when necessary.

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude.This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

Responsibilities of Merchandise Clerk:

• Developing a strong relationship with customers is key.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Assist clients with resolving queries and referring them to the relevant department for further assistance if necessary.
• Set up and upkeep product exhibits to adhere to established merchandising guidelines.
• Employ the use of technology to fulfill objectives and duties effectively.
• The position is relevant to a variety of departments, including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.
