Job Summary of Grocery Order Selector:

This role at Weis Markets, you will be responsible for selecting products efficiently and accurately using a voice-activated radio headset order system. This role requires physical activity, including lifting cases and walking long distances, while maintaining productivity standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Grocery Order Selector:

• Lift approximately 200 cases per hour, each weighing an average of 20 to 25 lbs.
• Use a voice-activated radio headset order system to select products accurately.
• Walk six to eight miles per shift while selecting products.
• Ensure all products are selected and prepared for shipment in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards while operating equipment and performing tasks.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of merchandise as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications and Experience of Grocery Order Selector:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25 lbs.) frequently.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to walk long distances throughout the shift.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Experience with a voice-activated order system or forklift operation is a plus.
