Grocery Fulfillment Associate

Role and Responsibilities:

The Grocery Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling online grocery orders. In this role, you will select, organize, and stage items for customer pickup or delivery while ensuring all products meet Giant Food’s quality and freshness standards.

• Pick and pack online grocery orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and product freshness.
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to questions and resolving issues professionally.
• Select items according to order details while maintaining presentation and store quality standards.
• Prepare and organize orders efficiently for scheduled pickup or delivery.
• Handle product substitutions appropriately and notify customers of any changes.
• Monitor inventory and report low-stock or missing items to store management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order completion.
• Assist with general store tasks, including restocking, organizing products, and supporting customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Customer-oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when fulfilling orders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused, fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work across departments and take on new tasks as needed.
• Basic computer skills for processing orders and tracking inventory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in grocery, retail, or warehouse operations is advantageous but not required.

• Competitive hourly pay between $15.00 and $18.00, based on experience.
