Frozen Foods Operations Manager

Job Summary of Frozen Foods Operations Manager:

The primary duties of managing the Frozen Food Department include overseeing stock levels, rotating inventory as needed, and storing products at suitable temperatures, while also prioritizing cleanliness and organization to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities of Frozen Foods Operations Manager:

• Validate deliveries by cross-referencing them with the invoices, and promptly report any shortages or overages to the designated team members.
• Accountable for overseeing price adjustments within the department.
• Maintain an acceptable inventory level by applying proper methods for ordering.
• Control the freshness of products by consistently rotating inventory and disposing of expired items.
• Extension of the temporary price reduction for designated items.
• Notify the supervisor of any temperature issues pertaining to cases, shelving units, or storage compartments.
• Keep track of faulty merchandise by reporting damage incidents and storing them in designated areas for sales team guidance.
• Preserve solid customer rapport.
• Provide a friendly welcome to visitors and be attentive in your role.
• Observe and respect the company policies detailed in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport goods to storage sections and present them on the sales premises.
• Ensure that shelves and cases are well-organized and in good condition for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of Frozen Foods Operations Manager:

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time.
