Responsibilities:
Customer Experience Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude and helpful approach.
Answer questions and assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs.
Take customer orders in person or by phone and ensure accuracy and timely preparation.
Food Preparation & Service Prepare, package, and display fresh food items according to department standards.
Handle slicing, cooking, frying, baking, or other culinary tasks depending on the department.
Maintain proper rotation of products and ensure consistent quality.
Sales & Merchandising Execute suggestive selling techniques to increase department sales.
Set up and maintain appealing displays that promote product freshness and variety.
Stay informed about product ingredients, preparation methods, and uses.
Safety & Sanitation Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.
Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and display areas regularly.
Properly operate equipment and report any malfunctions or hazards.
Department-Specific Tasks Bakery:
Assist in decorating, frying, or baking as needed.
Track inventory and record shrink for planning.
Deli:Operate slicers and maintain deli counters.
Manage catering orders and ensure timely customer pickups.
Prepared Foods:
Portion, package, and label hot and cold meal options.
Assist chefs in prepping ingredients.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in food service, retail, or grocery (preferred but not required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
Completion of company-provided food safety and sanitation training (upon hire)

Salary:
Starting at $15.50 $19.00/hour Depending on department, experience, and shift differential.
