In-Store Coffee Clerk

Company Overview:

Kroger is seeking an In-Store Coffee Clerk to provide outstanding customer service and support daily operations within our coffee shop. In this role, you will assist the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, while ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently met. By creating a welcoming and engaging environment for customers and collaborating with the deli department, you will contribute to an exceptional shopping experience. Role and Responsibilities:

As an In-Store Coffee Clerk, you will deliver high-quality service and help maintain smooth coffee shop operations. Responsibilities include:

• Enhance customer satisfaction through friendly and efficient service
• Assist the coffee shop lead and department manager in achieving sales and profit goals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards
• Follow established quality control standards for beverages, food, and overall service
• Prepare and serve coffee, specialty drinks, and food items
• Collaborate with the deli department and team members to elevate customer satisfaction
• Ensure products are stocked and displayed properly to meet customer demand
• Engage with customers, respond to inquiries, and provide product and menu guidance

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Attention to detail while maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Physical capability to stand, bend, and lift products as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service, retail, or coffee shop operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus
