Job Summary of Store Associate:

The primary focus of this position is to ensure that guests receive a positive and efficient shopping experience within a high-energy retail setting. Tasks include cashiering, restocking items, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting diverse store operations. The individual will receive training in multiple roles to assist the store team and uphold the store’s operational readiness for customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Store Associate:

• Start interactions with guests by offering a heartfelt greeting and ensuring top-notch service.
• Conduct transactions at the register promptly and with precision, all while being friendly.
• Organize merchandise on shelves, in coolers, and freezers to uphold sufficient stock levels and ensure product access.
• Adhere to regulations for preparing coffee and related products with regards to food safety.
• Ensure that the store remains clean and tidy, encompassing sales floors, food establishments, and restroom facilities.
• Adjust easily to rapid shifts in the environment and provide support to team members as necessary.
• Help with responsibilities as instructed by store leaders and promote a team-oriented culture.
• There may be a need to work at adjacent locations to assist with operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience of Store Associate:

• Education qualifications not mandated; candidates with a GED or high school degree are favored.
• Previous retail, food service, or guest service background of 3-6 months is advantageous.
• While it is beneficial, having a ServSafe or food safety certification is not a prerequisite.
• Proficient in communicating with visitors and staff in a customer-oriented atmosphere.
• Being lively, flexible, and cooperative, as well as having rudimentary computer competencies, can be beneficial.
