In the role of a Dishwasher, you will play a critical part in ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the metro food production center, actively supporting operational efficiency and team safety.

Role and Responsibilities:

The core responsibilities of this role involve handling dishwashing tasks and ensuring the facility's cleanliness meets the standards established in the team and facility's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Complete the cleaning process by washing, rinsing, and sanitizing various kitchen essentials like pots, pans, and utensils.
• Properly place all cleaned items in their assigned storage locations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment for the floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the dishwashing area.
• Ensure the dishwashing area is properly cleaned by using hot water, hoses, cleaning products, scrub pads, and brushes following standard operating procedures.
• Empty trash receptacles and switch liners following facility leadership directives.
• Refill dish room inventory and inform the procurement team of any supply shortages.
• Adhere to the provided cleaning checklists, safety guidelines, and sanitation schedules.
• Follow the safety procedures for working with hazardous substances.
• Ensure compliance with procedures for health, hygiene, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Carry out safe practices in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Support in handling cleaning emergencies promptly as they occur in the facility.
• Notify management without delay about any hazards, policy violations, accidents, or injuries that may transpire.
• Perform start-of-day, mid-day, and end-of-day tasks, along with any designated special projects.

• Demonstrating a diligent work attitude and the capability to thrive in a quick-paced work environment.
• Possessing strong adherence to instructions, along with adept time management and organizational abilities.
• Combining collaborative aptitude with self-motivation for working autonomously.
• Preparedness to work beyond regular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adaptable to a range of work conditions, be it wet/dry environments or extreme temperatures.
• Skilled at operating tools and equipment like knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Conformance with the company's dress code, production kitchen standards, and PPE requirements is a must.
• Inclination to utilize cleaning chemicals approved by the FDA.
• Skill in applying ladders appropriately.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The hourly compensation falls in the range of $21.50 to $35.00, mirroring the candidate's experience.
