Responsibilities of Store Cashier:

• Maintain regular attentiveness towards meeting customer demands. Welcome, support, and show appreciation to customers promptly, politely, and in a friendly manner.
• Record sales in a precise manner by utilizing the scanning system appropriately.
• Utilize cashiering tools effectively, recognizing different payment methods and delivering precise change with efficiency.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment while managing stock at the retail display.
• Make sure to place the carts in the shopping cart corral after use.
• Notify management if there are any suspicions or evidence of staff stealing, customers stealing, unauthorized discounts being given, company property being vandalized, or any actions that are illicit or in violation of company policies.
• Execute any job-related assignments given.
