Night Shift Associate

Job Summary of Night Shift Associate:

To maintain pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department. Ensure shelves are organized, fully stocked, and products are fresh and properly labeled to provide an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities of Night Shift Associate:

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas.
• Open cartons and price items (if needed) accurately.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated and pull out-of-code product as needed.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Properly present assigned section prior to leaving at the end of scheduled work shift.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
• Maintain a neat appearance according to the company's dress code policy.
• Abid by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
• Maintenance of price and protection program.
• Housekeeping of sales and back room areas.
• Assist with front-end service when needed.

Qualifications of Night Shift Associate:

• Capacity to interpret and transcribe information for precise tagging of merchandise, monitoring of inventory levels, and maintenance of product rotation.
• Proficient in moving, transporting, and arranging products in designated regions.
• Being able to fetch and position items on the upper shelves within the grocery aisles is a required skill for effective storage management.
• Expected to lift objects up to 70 pounds for a significant portion of the workday.
• Talent for following written and oral instructions.
