Role and Responsibilities of Store Quality Technician:
In the position of a Store Quality Technician, your primary duty involves ensuring that the store ambiance is clean, safe, and attractive, all while minimizing losses and adhering to the operational standards outlined by Food Lion. Your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of operations.
Foster a dynamic customer-centric atmosphere by stressing speedy, amiable, and precise interactions.
Extend a helping hand with kindness and respect towards your coworkers.
Conduct floor cleaning activities on nights without vendor appointments.
Undertake weekly cleanliness procedures for the Produce, Market, and Deli sections.
Arrange and declutter the janitorial supplies room in the store.
Uncovering productive strategies for task execution can help in reducing costs and improving output.
Comply with the daily QA checklist and maintain high standards of sanitation in the process.
Abide by established guidelines for the proper management of hazardous waste cleanup.
Adhere to the policies, guidelines, and customary practices enforced by Food Lion.
Abide by the safety guidelines and procedures designed to uphold standards for both Food Safety and Workplace Safety.
Make sure to report any unsafe conditions you find to the Manager on Duty after you have corrected them.
Meet the requirements outlined by local, state, and federal authorities in order to stay in compliance with the law.
Follow the proper attire guidelines by putting on the Food Lion uniform and wearing a clear name badge, keeping a polished and neat image.
Excel in Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packets, and Training Aids completion.
Undertake any other assigned duties.
Required Skills and Experience of Store Quality Technician:
Preferred candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possessing remarkable capabilities in fostering connections, organizing activities, transmitting messages clearly, and delivering excellent customer care.
Exhibiting the capability and enthusiasm to adapt to various tasks and technical job requisites.
Proficiency in applying technical data to find solutions to problems.
Adhering to the age limitations is mandatory to undertake specific job responsibilities.
Meeting the physical criteria of the position, with or without the need for accommodations.
Physical Requirements of Store Quality Technician:
Capability in employing computers and other communication networks is crucial for successful job performance.
Conduct iterative hand and arm motions.
Engage in continuous bending and raising tasks involving loads up to 15 lbs, with regular lifting of 25 lbs, and occasional lifting of 50 lbs.
Occasionally push or pull loads up to 75 lbs in weight as needed.
Keep standing throughout the day with frequent breaks for walking.
Oversee the upkeep of packaging and cleaning supplies, along with fresh groceries, houseplants, and cleaning solutions.
Utilize manual dexterity for handling money and operating registers, lottery machines, scanners, and calculators.
Frequent reaching and seizing objects around waist level, intermittently reaching higher or lower.
Fulfill the expected standards for volume and operational efficiency.
Carry out duties in extremely hot or cold conditions, with each stint not exceeding 20 minutes.
Verify identification, checks, invoices, and other paperwork using visual acuity.
