Job Summary of Meat Cutter / Wrapper:

This role focuses on ensuring high quality meat preparation and exceptional service within a fast paced retail environment. Responsibilities include inspecting, cutting, packaging, and displaying meat products while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety standards. A strong attention to detail and commitment to member satisfaction are essential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Meat Cutter / Wrapper:

• Cut, trim, grind, and package meat products in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Display and label meat products clearly and attractively for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and member service.
• Utilize handheld devices to manage inventory and make real-time business decisions.
• Assist members with questions, purchases, and recommendations related to meat products.
• Monitor product freshness, quality, and proper storage in compliance with company policies.
• Support cross-functional areas of the store when needed to meet member demand.
• Uphold ethical standards and company procedures in all activities.

Qualifications and Experience of Meat Cutter / Wrapper:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No formal education or experience requirements listed.
• Preferred: Experience working with meat or in food preparation is a plus.
• Ability to work in cold environments and stand for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools and handheld technology for daily tasks.

Salary:

• Hourly wage range: $17.00 – $24.00, depending on experience.
• Additional compensation through premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply.
